Hi Cat,
You're the reason I decided to subscribe to openhousenyc right during the show today.
I need help to upgrade my life, my home and certainly my technological gadgetry. My multifunction fax/copier/printer is dead. My computer is on crutches and sometimes on life support - doesn't back up, doesn't open pictures files, etc. etc. you get the picture!
Your big screen computer looks and sounds great. What's the memory capacity? Can one also watch TV on it? and download movies from TV onto its hard drive and then perhaps copy them on to a DVD?
and certainly not trivial or irrelevant question: how much does it cost?

I love watching open house nyc Sunday Mornings. Where can I find out more about the specific brand and type of smart home technology Cat mentioned that plug into your outlets and can be accessed by your phone? We are buying a new apartment in Manhattan and I would love to reduce our energy consumption with these.
