David LaChapelle's American Jesus Exhibition

Known for his striking, over-the-top images for Rolling Stone, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, photographer David LaChapelle has focused his lens on pop culture and current events for his exhibition "American Jesus." At Chelsea's Paul Kasmin Gallery, the show includes an array of tongue-in-cheek pieces like a trio of large-scale photographs depicting Michael Jackson as a modern-day martyr.
